With 20-plus years in the industry, Joaquin has a background as a marketing chief for one of the nation’s largest remodeling companies. He is bringing his proven skill set and high-level marketing strategies to DreamMaker remodeling franchise owners who want to grow their businesses in a booming market.

A long-time admirer of DreamMaker, Joaquin’s respect for us has only grown since coming aboard.

“I’ve known Doug (Dwyer, President and Chief Stewarding Officer of DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen) for many years,” Joaquin says. “He had reached an interesting point with DreamMaker, and he thought we’d be a good match. Joaquin’s first task was to conduct an in-depth analysis on several of our home remodeling franchise locations around the country. He looked at competitive local markets, value proposition and marketing budget and then built customized marketing plans for the owners to implement.

“On the franchisee level, I found that marketing had become a task,” Joaquin says. “Also, many franchisees were too focused on getting new clients, which meant they weren’t nurturing their database of existing clients. They also needed to work hard on promoting their design centers — a tool a lot of the competition doesn’t have.”
