Next Level Group of Franchisees with DreamMaker Visit Newly Constructed Design Center

High-revenue franchise owners of the DreamMaker remodeling franchise tour new Design Center built by successful franchisee in Illinois

DreamMaker remodeling franchise owners who are part of a high-revenue Next Level Group recently toured a Design Center constructed by successful franchise owner Curt Trampe of Springfield, Illinois. Curt’s Design Center is in his new location — which he spent four months constructing, and which he expects to help double his revenue.

“What I tell potential franchise owners is the networking of owners is the most advantageous part of the franchise system,” Curt says. “This is a great opportunity to do that with Next Level visits.”

The substantial growth Curt’s franchise has experienced over the past two years made his location a worthy study for the Next Level Group. Visiting franchise members had the opportunity to ask questions and offer suggestions and recommendations.

DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen is a remodeling franchise that helps entrepreneurs and remodelers earn strong financial numbers and improve their quality of life. Our franchise owners enjoy much stronger margins than most remodelers, and their customers report much higher satisfaction. DreamMaker’s business practices are guided by biblical principles of service, respect, and integrity, and they are key to our success.

“We’ve helped existing remodelers take their operations to the next level by providing training and systems to run a stronger remodeling business,” says President and Chief Stewarding Officer Doug Dwyer. “Those same systems and resources have helped entrepreneurs launch brand new remodeling businesses that are among DreamMaker’s top performers.”

Curt also shared with the group latest technology DreamMaker corporate rolled out last year for facilitating contact management, creating a scope of work, estimating project costs, managing projects, and incorporating its unique and proprietary lead carpenter compensation plan. Curt’s Springfield location is leading the implementation of DreamMaker’s Proprietary Electronic Management Tool II (EMT2).

“It’s being implemented by others, as well,” Curt says. “We were part of the first beta group from last summer that got a chance to test it and tweak it. Most of the franchise owners had seen the tool, but never in action in a live business setting like ours.”

Doug says making the system powerful, yet easy to use, will make it easier for DreamMaker franchisees to hire salespeople and get them up to speed.

“Since a lot of knowledge about materials and price points is built into the system, even people without extensive remodeling experience can be trained to create accurate price estimates much more quickly,” Doug says. “The new software also is expected to provide a powerful boost to entrepreneurs who are interested in starting a DreamMaker remodeling franchise, but who don’t have extensive building or remodeling experience.”

Curt is one of the highest revenue producers in the DreamMaker system and consistently runs a very profitable business. He and his wife, Deb, run a tight ship and exemplify how franchisees follow and implement the DreamMaker systems to deliver world-class customer service. Deb works part-time and handles marketing for the location, and she and Curt serve as mentors for remodelers entering the DreamMaker system.
