Training & Support
This Process includes:
Sometimes an idea has more impact coming from another franchisee. To help facilitate these crucial connections, we offer Peer Groups and Next Level Groups for all of our franchisees.
7 Key Components of Success:
There are seven key components we look at when evaluating our potential home remodeling franchise owners
- Drive: We offer comprehensive training and support, but for you to succeed in this franchise business opportunity, you need to have the motivation and drive to do so.
- Heart: Valuing others and treating everyone with respect is a tenet of our Code of Values™, and a fundamental aspect of our business culture.
- Focus: As the owner of your home remodeling franchise business, you must maintain your focus on your goals and benchmarks. Being able to maintain focus is crucial for your and your team’s success.
- Coachability: Being willing and able to listen to and act upon the experience of DreamMaker franchise coaches and fellow franchisees who have been successful is crucial. They have been where you are and want to help see you thrive!
- Willingness to follow systems: Our systems are the result of decades of industry experience. We provide everything you need to own a successful DreamMaker remodeling franchise.
- Values: Our Code of Values™ is at the core of our DreamMaker culture. We strive to find people for our franchise business opportunity who will respect and follow them, and live by the tenet of loving our neighbor as ourselves.
- Support at home: Starting a new business puts a lot of pressure on not only you, but your loved ones as well. Having family support is critical to your success.
Are You A Fit For This Business?
DreamMaker’s 8-Step Mutual Evaluation Process
Investing in a remodeling franchise is a big decision, but so is welcoming someone into a franchise family! That’s why DreamMaker wants you to ask a lot of questions, and why we’ll ask you a lot of questions in return, as we explore whether we’re a great fit for one another.
To aid prospective franchise owners in determining if our brand is the right fit for them, we developed an 8-Step Mutual Evaluation Process. The ultimate goal of this process is to address all your questions regarding our franchise business opportunity. We trust that, upon completion of this process, you will have clarity on whether we are a good mutual fit. This process begins with you filling out a website form – we’d love to talk to you!
The 8-Step Mutual Evaluation Process
What can you expect while we get to know each other?
Goals, Overview & Decision Criteria
What sets DreamMaker apart is our faith-based approach to business. We recognize that success is not solely measured by monetary gains but also by living out our values and principles.
DreamMaker Brand Review
DreamMaker will then host 1-2 webinars so you can learn more about our business model, and how it works for our franchise owners. After the DreamMaker brand review, you will be asked to complete a Candidate Questionnaire so we can continue the mutual evaluation.
Complete Candidate Questionnaire (CQ)
The no-obligation, confidential and non-binding "Candidate Questionnaire" demonstrates to DreamMaker that you are serious about exploring the franchise opportunity. We will ask you to complete this form and then schedule a call to review
Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) Review
During this step, you’ll have the opportunity to be guided through the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD). Our FDD provides contact information for our current franchisees and provides an essential opportunity for you to get a fuller picture of what it’s like to own one of our franchises.
Action Plan & Funding Process
During this time, you and our Franchise Recruiter will create a plan to take the next steps whether that is starting from scratch or converting your existing remodeling company into a DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen franchise. You'll also have preliminary discussions to determine the territory you're interested in opening that fits our master development plan.
Meet Us at Discovery Day
If approved you will be invited to visit our company headquarters in Waco, TX for a Discovery Day. During our day together you will be with members of the DreamMaker Leadership Team and learn how you will be supported by various departments such as Franchise Coaching, Marketing and Technology.
Sign Award Letter
The DreamMaker Leadership Team will finally review your application details and make a final decision on whether to award you a DreamMaker franchise. This will also be an opportunity to send in any outstanding information we need to consider you as a DreamMaker franchisee if you haven't already done so.
Sign Franchise Agreement
Upon receipt of your signed franchise agreement, we will schedule a hand-off call with onboarding where you’ll be guided by your dedicated franchise and marketing coach on the three phases of onboarding training.
Training and Onboarding
After you sign on as a franchisee, we will begin training, starting with Foundations Prep. In Foundations Prep, we will help you begin looking for a Design Center location and other target steps for setting up the business. The next phase is Foundations Core, which includes virtual sessions over the course of two weeks covering marketing, financial health, and other ownership training. Finally, you will go through Simulation over the course of 6-8 weeks via regular phone/Zoom contact. This includes hands-on assignments, sales education, learning the technology stack, a marketing site visit, and “A Week in the Life of a Franchisee” training where you will visit an operating DreamMaker location to learn more.
In addition to this start-up training, you will also have an abundance of ongoing training in the form of mentor visits, Next Level Groups (with fellow franchisees), Training Events twice a year, monthly roundtables and webinars, and consistent support from your dedicated franchise coach.
DreamMaker is committed to your success, and our systems and support will be with you every step of the way.
What's Next?
Once you fill out a form on our website, you’ll immediately receive an email with our Remodeling Franchise Report, and a franchise recruiter will reach out to set up an initial call to discuss basics about the company. Whether your background is construction and remodeling, or corporate America, this franchise opportunity might be the perfect choice!
“This is a very complex business. My recommendation is do it with DreamMaker or don’t do it at all.”
