DreamMaker Remodeling Franchise Names 2015 Woman of the Year
Ogden-based DreamMaker team member recognized for bringing clients’ dreams to fruition
At this year’s annual DreamMaker Kitchen and Bath reunion, designer and sales associate Heather Sewalson of the Ogden, Utah-based DreamMaker franchise received our company’s Woman of Year award. Heather was nominated based on her ability to live DreamMaker’s Code of Values™ in both her professional and personal life –– a quality that has helped her grow quickly within the company.
With the help and support of the DreamMaker team, Heather has been able to move from her role as office manager into design with an emphasis toward making style meet functionality.
“I have been able to make that dream a reality,” she says. “I love working with customers. I try to understand how clients use their space and what specific needs they have and the mixture of textiles and colors to bring a complete look together. I love finding ways to combine traditional styles with a new modern twist.”
“Heather is an excellent designer and over the past year has blossomed into a great salesperson,” says Nathan Coombs, general manager of the Ogden DreamMaker franchise. “She has grabbed hold of DreamMaker’s Code of Values and strives to live them every day, working hard to ensure that her clients are provided with the best experience possible.”
DreamMaker’s dedicated team is driving our franchise forward
At the DreamMaker remodeling franchise, our bottom line is people. Throughout the course of our franchise’s history, DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen has sought to treat people with respect and integrity as part of our company’s Code of Values.
DreamMaker believes if we treat people with respect and integrity, success will follow. Our Code of Values is central to who we are and the way we strive to conduct ourselves in business and in life. The Code of Values is not just something that hangs on the wall. The Code of Values informs the way DreamMaker franchisees treat our customers –– and they notice the difference.
We have a system for keeping the Code of Values in place. It’s a living, breathing philosophy based on timeless principles. We know it is impossible to live these values perfectly, but we can live them with excellence. Our company’s corporate philosophy emphasizes honesty and community service.
All DreamMaker franchise owners sign the Code of Values, pledging that all business is conducted completely above-board. Our Code of Values is central to who we are and has allowed us to attract a team of franchise owners who are as passionate about their faith as they are their DreamMaker remodeling franchise.
A worthy franchise in the fast-growing remodeling industry
The home remodeling industry is growing fast, and DreamMaker is here to meet the demands of the booming market. We are a remodeling franchise that helps entrepreneurs and remodelers earn strong financial numbers while having a focus on improving their quality of life. Our franchise owners enjoy much stronger margins than most remodelers — and their customers report much, much higher satisfaction. DreamMaker’s business practices are guided by biblical principles of service, respect and integrity — and are key to our success.
DreamMaker franchisees offer the niche of professional kitchen and bath remodeling. Additionally, our business model is designed to expand into full interior remodeling as franchisees’ confidence, competence and business grow. This allows our franchise owners to maximize their marketing dollars and create customers for life. DreamMaker has also helped existing remodelers take their operations to the next level by providing training and systems to run a stronger remodeling business.
“Those same systems and resources have helped entrepreneurs launch brand new remodeling businesses that are among DreamMaker’s top performers,” says Doug Dwyer, DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen President and Chief Stewarding Officer.
