DreamMaker draws strength from a rich history in franchising

DreamMaker began in 1975 as the GNU Corporation, which developed a way to add a hard-surface topcoat onto porcelain sinks and bathtubs. In 1988, our name changed to Worldwide Refinishing Systems, Inc., and we grew into a recognized leader in the refinishing industry.

As our services expanded, we rebranded as DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen by Worldwide in 1999. This new name showcases the work we do in offering comprehensive refinishing and resurfacing services.

In 2003, President and Chief Stewardship Officer Doug Dwyer purchased DreamMaker. Under his leadership, we have expanded our services even more. We now offer full-service interior remodeling, in addition to our resurfacing and refinishing services. DreamMaker is also proud to have supported many remodelers in buying a franchise business and fulfilling their franchise dreams.
